more about AAA Membership
AAA Membership Criteria
- Eligibility: UK or Ireland-based agency with a pool of clients actively engaged in writing
- All AAA member agencies must commit to abide by our Code of Practice
- Every member agency must also have Professional Indemnity Insurance — we are pleased to offer a discounted group scheme through PIMS-SCA
- The AAA Membership fee is tiered based on the number of staff at the agency
How does the AAA function?
- Led by a committee of volunteers elected by members for two or three-year tenures on a rolling basis
- We hold quarterly meetings to discuss key agenda topics, and their minutes are available for members' perusal
- Bridge subcommittee to encourage close involvement of junior agents
- Working groups to spearhead specific projects and collaborations
Our current member agencies include literary agents from all walks of life — no matter your background or your past experience, there’s space for everyone in agenting.
We’re dedicated to making literary agenting an inclusive career path that’s open to all.
